I love throwback Thursday posts. It’s always fun to see how my skill and talent has evolved over the years and it’s also really encouraging to see how some people have stuck with me as I have grown and gotten better.
I first photographed Clark and his family all the way back in 2012. He was such a cute little fella, don’t you think?
Besides doing his family’s pictures every few years I have also been able to snag the occasional shot of him at various school functions like this one from Cowboy Day in 2014.
Then of course I got to take his senior pictures and his graduation last year.
Clark was accepted into the Merchant Marines after he graduated and while he was home for Christmas we planned family pictures…and finally got to do them on Saturday. More of those family pictures will show up on the blog over the next week or so but today I wanted to share a few of my favorites that we took of him as we got started.
Gotta love a man in a uniform, right? And he looks quite handsome in his.
I’ll be honest and say I don’t know a whole lot about the Merchant Marines but I am confident that they got better when they accepted Clark into their ranks.
Their motto is Acta Non Verba ~ Deeds Not Words and I think that will be exemplified in him having been raised on the truth that we aren’t just hearers of God’s word but doers.
The Lord bless you, Clark, as you walk in the good deeds He has prepared for you in the USMMA and in the future.

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language. And next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.” ~ TS Eliot
May next year’s voice speak with hope and may our beginning be one of peace.
